In May 2020, I graduated summa cum laude from Minnesota State University with a degree in advertising and public relations. While COVID disrupted my job hunt, it didn’t ruin it. In September 2020, I started at ByteSpeed in sales and marketing. I currently love my job and I’m enjoying the ups and downs as a new grad freshly entering the workforce. MY INTERESTS
WRITING: I’ve been writing since I can remember and I’ve been enjoying it for that same amount of time. When I was young, I’d write stories that weren’t exactly well thought out, but I’d like to think that all that practice is why I always excelled in this particular area. Once I learned that I don’t have to follow every rule set for written word, writing became even more fun. I hope to continue my practice here on this page.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT: This is a fairly new interest that’s heavily inspired by the work I do at ByteSpeed. First off, technology is so interesting and relatively unexplored by me, making it more challenging and more fun. Helping with the new website for ByteSpeed has been incredible, and it’s sparked a new interest in the back end part of the website, even though I only work in the front end.
SOCIAL MEDIA: In school I learned about the importance of social media to your advertising/public relations campaigns, and I don’t want to stop learning about social media’s affect on us. Fun fact: My LinkedIn profile helped me get my job! Social media is an extremely powerful tool that I want to keep exploring.
